Conde do Casal vineyards was stablished in the early 20th century by winemaker Manuel Henriques, Casal do Conde is nestled in Porto de Muge along the north bank of the Tagus River. The estate spans 137.5 hectares, with 75 hectares dedicated to vineyards planted with both indigenous Portuguese and select international grape varieties. The calcareous-clay soils of the Bairro subregion contribute to the distinctive character of their wines. In 2016, the estate joined forces with the A. Faia Group, ushering in a new era of modernisation and expansion while maintaining a commitment to quality and tradition.
